"The growth and development of young children is a continuous process. At different times of the process, there are important milestones of early childhood development. Therefore, it is crucial for parents and teachers to record those important data to attest the healthy growth of children. The Learning History File is a systematic record of these important data, but not an evaluation tool. Upon children's grade promotion, the Learning History File can be proven useful as the new teachers' reference and follow-up. Upon promotion to primary school, the File can then be put in the safe custody by the parents and, if necessary, be provided to the primary school teachers for reference."
